Explosive 4th of July Table Top Design

A GORGEOUS TABLE SETTING

MAKES FOR A GREAT CELEBRATION.

I am one of those people that believes inspiration is all around us. It sounds typical, but my creativity soared the moment I thought to do a table setting for the 4th of July. There is nothing I enjoy more than the peace I feel when decorating for the holidays.

Some people treat Christmas like the biggest event of the year, but I see them all that way. Each holiday is a new opportunity, an opportunity to design freely and openly. It’s the prelude to a moment of downtime with my loved ones.

The Fourth of July was especially nice because although I was in Chicago, I was feeling Hampton Chic. I integrated hints of blue and cherry red to bring a classic style forth. The patriotic details made me smile because I am proud of where I come from, where my company is established. Even in conversation I proudly say, “Made in USA”.  Freedom to create and freedom of expression are significant and beautiful to me.

MAKES FOR A GREAT CELEBRATION.

A MOMENT TO UNWIND

BEFORE THE HOLIDAY FUN BEGINS

It’s exciting for me to do “tablescapes” because it’s exercing a part of my interior design background that I don’t spend much time with. What’s even cooler is I get to share it with my team, my family and my friends. We all work so hard and to take these moments and spend time together is important to me.

Although I appreciate the passing moments of togetherness, I still like to take a much needed moment to myself. Running a salon and spa interior design and manufacturing company is nowhere near easy. I’m always traveling, I rarely see my pup Shelby and I am in the office from start of day passed end of day. So I figured I owed myself a sip of champagne and a couple of seconds in the cool breeze.

Often we forget that it’s okay to be off in our own world creating purely from the heart. Those are the moments that breed more authentic creativeness.
